Our Water Exercise Class offers a low impact, high intesity shallow water workout. The format includes warm-up, cardio exercises, conditioning exercises and a cool down. Variations for the exercises will be presented in order for all levels of participants to benefit from the class. The conditioning segment of the class incorporates Water Pilates exercises to elongate the entire body, build a stronger core with movements from the inside out and increase strength and flexibility with emphasis on fluidity and grace.

Our Body Blast class is for a parent and child to enjoy together. The focus of the class is exercise for the parent
and water adjustment for the child. Parents will benefit from the conditioning cardio water exercise and children will gain confidence by spending time in the water with the security of being with their parent.
Our Water Exercise and Body Blast programs welcome all students and will offer intensity level variations based on individual experience and ability levels. Students must be able to independently use the steps to enter and exit the deck area and independently use the steps to enter and exit the pool. Strong swimming skills are not required. However, please note your swimming ability on the Heatlth Information Form. Health History, Waiver, and Enrollment forms must be signed prior to starting class and a physician's consultation is recommended prior to beginning any fitness class. PSA recommends water exercise shoes and supportive swimwear. The Swim Outlet offers a variety of water exercise footwear, swimwear and equipment. The initial classes may use noodles and barbells provided by Pearland Swim Academy but students can bring their personal water exercise gloves or weights if they prefer. Each Class will follow Aquatic Exercise Association Guidelines and Recommendations.
The Pearland Swim Academy is currently running on a Year-Round Schedule.
Our Water Exercise lessons meet weekly and are 60 minutes each lesson.
