Do you like the water? Do you like working with kids? This is your chance for a great part-time job with us here at the Pearland Swim Academy. We are looking for dedicated, dependable, fun loving individuals to staff our year-round swim instruction program. No experience is necessary, only a love for working with children. Potential for full-time employment Positions Available Full Time – Front Desk Responsibilities include enrolling students for swim lessons, fielding questions and comments, assisting staff as needed, processing payroll and employee paperwork and more. Skills needed: strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, telephone, and basic computer skills. Minimum Education preferred: Minimum 2 years junior college. Starting pay: $10 per hour Part Time – Swim Instructor Responsibilities include teaching swim lessons to children ages 2 and up, communication with parents on student progress, maintaining the pool environment. Skills needed: basic swimming skills, experience working with children Minimum Education preferred: High School graduate or equivalent. Swim Instructor Training will be provided. Starting pay: $8.25 per hour Part Time – Life Guard Responsibilities include guarding the pool during swim lessons and maintaining the pool environment. Skills needed: Life Guard Certification Minimum Education preferred: 2 years of High School.
